Serving New Lexington and Perry County for over 52 years

Formerly the Morgan-Johnson-Birkimer Funeral Home was founded in 1893 on Main Street in New Lexington and in 1894 Morgan withdrew and in 1910 it became the JA Birkimer Funeral Home. In 1905 the name was changed again to Birkimer and Sons when Earie and Donald joined their father in business, they also had a furniture store adjoining the Main Street address. The Birkimers operated funeral homes in both New Lexington and Junction City until 1918. In 1932 they moved to the present location which was purchased by William H. Roberts, Jr. in 1956 and the name was changed to the Roberts Funeral Home, currently in operation for over 52 years. Mr. Roberts died on May 6th, 2011 and on December 10, 2011 the funeral home was purchased by Robert C. Winegardner and his wife Terri Winegardner.
