Albert RehartJanuary 19, 1927 ~ December 6, 2017 (age 90)
Albert Rehart, 90 of New Lexington, Ohio peacefully went home to be with his family on the morning of Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at his residence.
Born January 19, 1927 in San Toy, Ohio to the late George, Sr. and Sarah Monroe Rehart.
Residential Incorporated thru the Perry County Board of DD has been honored to support Albert for over thirty five years.
As Albert was nearing the end of life’s journey, he had the pleasure of staying at his home, in his own bedroom with wonderful treatment from hospice and his dedicated staff. His ending was peaceful and he was ready. He stated as much.
Albert enjoyed a full and satisfying life. He loved his family, his home and staff. He had a very dear friendship with Martha Silver whom he loved going out to dinner with and also his guardian, Sarah Winters.
Albert was fortunate to be reunited with his brother, George Rehart and they shared a home together going on thirty years. It was a very special and bonded brotherly love.
Albert was fun to be around, loved to joke and tease. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Survived by a sister, Catherine Albright and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by brothers, John, George and Charles Rehart; sisters, Mary Axline and Mary Hazlett.
Calling hours will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm with funeral service at 1:00pm on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Pastor David Helser officiating.
Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery, McLuney, Ohio.
