Alice D. Self, 55, of New Lexington, Ohio went home to be with the Lord at 5:10am on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born July 13, 1959 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Foster T. and Myrtle I. South Spangler.
She loved God with all of her heart and was a member of the Community Holiness Church of New Lexington.
Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother.
Survived by her husband of 39 years, Jeff Self of the home; children, Jeffery (Jennifer) Self of Akron, Amanda D. (Larry) Moore of Bremen and Justin (Shauna) Self of New Lexington; 10 grandchildren, Larry, II., Christopher, Jessica, Caleb, Alexander, Jeffery, III., Jerrod, Joey, Taylor and Hudson; 5 brothers, Ron, Terry, Clint, Don and Rick Spangler; 5 sisters, Carolyn Souders, Linda Wright, Evelyn Brandenburger, Kathleen Shively and Bessie Shipman; several aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by 4 brothers, Jack, Jim, Larry and George Spangler.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and from 10am-11am on Friday at the Church.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Community Holiness Church, New Lexington, Ohio with Reverend Kenneth Teter officiating.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Bremen, Ohio.
