Betty J. (Dunfee) Dingey

Betty J. Dunfee Dingey, 77, of Blue Rock, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Cedar Hill Care Center, Zanesville, Ohio after a long battle with cancer.

Born September 14, 1938 in Athens, Ohio to the late Herman and Lucille Crippen Dunfee.

Betty loved to play Bingo, fishing and hunting and loved the outdoors.

Loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, she is survived by son, Frank (Dixie) Paynter of Zanesville, daughter, Doris Fritz of New Straitsville; 14 grandchildren, Herb (Kathy) Fritz, Dixie Paynter, Frank (Jennifer) Paynter, Sue (Chad Tetak) Paynter, Jeff (Lori Clever) Paynter, Crystal Paynter, John (Lisa) Paynter, Paula (Richard) Willy, Herbie Cain, Buddy Cain, Christina Reed, Jean Kinney, Becky Cain and Charlie Fritz;  several great-grandchildren; brother, David Dunfee of Corning; 2 sisters, Sandy Durben of Cambridge and Virginia Dunfee of California; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by 2 sons, Edward Paynter, Jr. and Herb Cain; 2 sisters, Vera Samson and Goldie Dunfee; 2 grandchildren, Cathy Paynter and Michael Fritz.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastors Chris Durben and Joe Dunlap officiating.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Portersville, Ohio.
