Betty J. (Spencer) Strohl-Cannon

Betty J. Strohl Cannon, 92, of New Lexington, Ohio passed away at 2:40 am on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 Genesis Healthcare, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born May 8, 1924 in Somerset, Ohio to the late William Spencer and Cecilia Litzinger Kaimberg.

A member of Saint Rose Catholic Church; retired from the former Bryant’s and United Technologies; loved to travel and loved her family dearly.

Survived by her children, Richard (Judy) Strohl of Somerset, Wanda (Richard) Hankison of Springfield, Roger (Jeannie) Strohl of New Lexington, Bill (Cheryl) Riley of Lancaster, Robert (Michelle) Strohl of New Lexington, Mary Beth (Tom) Krouse of Florida and David (Teresa) Cannon of New Lexington; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her first husband, Noelan E. “Grinnie” Strohl; second husband, Gerald “Gene” Cannon; daughter, Barbara Ann Kimble, son, Ron Strohl, 2 granddaughters, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4 pm and 6-8pm with Rosary at 7:45 pm on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, Corner of Main and Water Streets, New Lexington, Ohio with Father Cyrus Haddad as Celebrant.

Burial will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Somerset, Ohio.
