Bryce "Butch" Alan Morrison

Bryce Alan “Butch” Morrison, 75, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 9:11pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark, Ohio.

Born October 8, 1941 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Raymond Morrison and Lola Humphrey Morrison Divers.

He was a United States Air Force veteran during the Vietnam Era; graduated from Philo High School in 1959 and Ohio University in 1986; retired from AEP (Philo Power Plant) and Mt. Aloysius Corporation in 2007, where he was a Program Supervisor for a Group Home; a member of Eagles #2070 of New Lexington and an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Ohio States Buckeyes and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Survived by his wife, Kathryn Browning Morrison whom he married in 1993, of the home; sons, Darren (Jan) Morrison of Atwater and Troy (April) Morrison of Nashville TN; step-children, Adrian Browning, Aaron (Billie) Browning and Amanda Browning, all of Zanesville; 2 grandsons, Cameron (Liz) Morrison of New Albany and Andrew (Erica) Downs of Tennessee; step grandsons, Bo Shirer and Dean Murphy and step granddaughters, Sierra and Santana Browning all of Zanesville; 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ronald and Jake Morrison and his step father, Dick Divers.

Calling hours will be from 4-7pm, with Eagles Services at 7pm on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 am Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville, Ohio.
