Carolyn S. "Connie" Boring

Carolyn S. “Connie” Boring, 75, of Oakfield, Ohio died at 8:00am on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at her home.

Born October 10, 1940 in Corning, Ohio to the late Robert Raymond and Marie Ellen Wilson Glass.

Connie was a member of the Oakfield Wesleyan Church; loved the outdoors, fishing, sewing, quilting and her grandchildren; enjoyed music, especially listening to her boys play and sing.

Survived by her children, Lory (Jeff) McCune of Hemlock, Chuck (Lesa) Garey of Portersville, Leroy, Jr. (Bonnie) Garey of New Lexington and Clyde (Teresa) Garey of Portersville; step-son, Michael (Jessica) Boring of Corning; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bill (Betty) Glass of Moxahala and Jim (Robin) Glass of Shawnee.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Glenn Garey, Sr.; second husband, Clinton “Gene” Boring; 2 sisters, Lorena Mae Stalter and Marjorie Ann Corbett.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Mary Perani officiating.

Burial will be in Oakfield Cemetery, Oakfield, Ohio.
