David Allen Zonars, 62, of New Lexington, Ohio died Friday, September 18, 2015 at his residence following a sudden illness.
He was born October 17, 1952 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Athans C. and Madge Miller Zonars.
Dave retired as a truck driver following many years of driving. He was an avid gardener, woodworker, fisherman, boater and enjoyed working with his hands.
Survived by two daughters, Theresa Zonars of Stockholm, Sweden and Megan (Mack) Zonars-Thomas of Columbus; one son, Erick Zonars of Chillicothe; four grandsons, Simon Zonars, Zachary Timmons, Gabriel Timmons and Mack Thomas, II; two very close friends that Dave thought of as family, Michael & Andrea Cross of Crooksville and a special pet companion, Roxie.
In accordance with Dave’s wishes, a direct cremation will take place and A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
