Delmar Lee Barnette

Delmar Lee Barnette, 84, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center.

Delmar was born June 30, 1933, in Rock Castle, WV, to the late Rude A. Barnett and Jemima (Davis) Barnett Williams.

Delmar lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; fishing, gardening, playing cards,   creating artwork, and spending time with friends.

Delmar is survived by one brother, Rudy (Betty) Barnette; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Delmar was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (James) Barnette, and multiple siblings, Rondus Barnett, Ralph Barnett, Clara Appleman, Faye Pollen, and Eva Augustine.

Calling hours will be held from 5pm-7pm on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Helser officiating.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
