Eileen (Friesner) June

Eileen June, 92 of New Lexington, Ohio, formerly of Junction City, Ohio died at 6:30pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Genesis Healthcare-New Lexington Center.

Born July 6, 1924 in Bremen, Ohio to the late Bill and Ada George Friesner.

Eileen was raised in the Masonic Home in Springfield, Ohio until the age of 16 and she went back to her Mother in Bremen; employed at Essex Wire, Diamond Power and was a seamstress for many years in Perry County and surrounding areas. Member of Good Shepherd Church in Junction City.

Survived by her husband of 74 years, Art June; son, Art (Judy) June of Junction City; daughter, Veronica (Fred) Robison of Crooksville; sister, Betty Whelahan of New York; three grandchildren, Sierra June, Scott (Linda) Hutmire and Lee Hutmire (friend, John); two great-grandchildren, Eric and Marissa Hutmire.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by, step-father, Ray McCumber; sister, Mildred Hopkins and two brothers, Lewis Friesner and Bob Friesner.

Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm with Reverend John Kay officiating on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will be in New Lebanon Cemetery, Junction City, Ohio.
