Evelyn F. (Maxwell) Alfman

Evelyn F. Alfman, 95, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 4:55pm on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born August 9, 1921 in Trimble Township, Athens County, Ohio to the late Wilbert and Adda Kasler Maxwell.

Mrs. Alfman was a homemaker and member of the Covenant Community Church of New Lexington.

Survived by her children, Leo (Virginia) Alfman of Zanesville, Marlene (Ralph) Savage of Mt. Perry and Martha (Michael) Bell of Mt. Perry; grandchildren, Gina (Jerry) Dozier, Scott Alfman, Chris (Robin) Alfman and Jeffery Savage; several great and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Alfman; grandson, Eric Alfman; an infant granddaughter and several brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Sanford Short officiating.

Burial will be in Community Gardens Cemetery.
