Evelyn (Bolden) Sandlin

Evelyn Sandlin, 85 of New Lexington, Ohio died at 3:58 pm on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born September 27, 1930 in Roda, Virginia to the late Earl Bolden and Margaret Presley.

She was a member of the Community Holiness Church; loved her kids, grandkids and gardening.

Survived by sons, Don (Peggy), Jim (Cindy) and Robert (Mary); daughters, Lois (Bill), Sara (Skip), Glenda (Scott) and Mary (Shayne); several nieces and nephews; one special niece, Linda Miller; 26 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, too many to count; sister-in-law, Barbara Bolden and Lillie, her baby puppy.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Don Sandlin; son, Eddie; daughter, Debbie; granddaughter, Angela Marie Shrider and 3 brothers.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will held at 10:00am on Friday, June 17, 2016 with Reverend Kenneth Teter officiating.

Burial will be in the Community Gardens Cemetery in New Lexington, Ohio.
