Frederick “Fred” Thomas Bair, 80, of Thornville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 while holding his wife’s hand.  He was so tired and finally succumbed after 35 years of battling cancer.

Fred was a CPA in private practice in Worthington, Ohio and owned Buckeye Beach Mobile Home Park, Marina and Campground on Buckeye Lake, where he and his wife of 58 years, Judy resided. They were blessed with 3 outstanding daughters Bettina Bair (Larry Stefanich), Bonita Bair and Bethany (Lance) Roshon, who gave them 5 wonderful grandchildren, Miranda Marcus (Ricky Alvarez), Carly, Alexander, Julian and Abigail; they also enjoyed 2 great- grandchildren, Kira and Derek; also survived by his sister, Debra (Doug) Palmer and 2 nephews, Brian (Beth) McFarland and Christopher (Sharon) McFarland.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward.

Fred was a member of Buckeye Lake Yacht Club & the Buckeye Lake Historical Society where he was a past president.

Fred’s greatest joy was traveling with his wife, children and friends - he went around the world in 80 years! His favorite place was Harbour Island in the Bahamas, where he was considered a resident tourist. We all mourn the loss of one of God’s great gifts; he was a true philanthropist & life was a better place with him in the world.
