H. Dean Lyle, 70, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 10:50pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.

Born May 5, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Carson Lyle and Ferne V. Ansel Lyle of New Lexington, Ohio.

Dean was a former employee of Peabody Coal Company; Stewart Glapat of Zanesville and E.C. Babbert of Canal Winchester; he was Protestant by faith and a lifetime member of B.P.O.E. #509, New Lexington, Ohio.

Survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandy Carney Lyle, whom he married on June 13, 1970; 2 children, Terre (Chris) Craft of Cambridge and Bryan (Heather) Lyle of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Skye, Sydnee, Chloe, Caitlyn, Logan, Carson, McKenzie and twin girls due in September; mother, Ferne V. Lyle of New Lexington; 2 brothers, twin, Gene (Connie) Lyle of Crooksville and Doug Lyle of Kansas and 4 nieces.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-8pm with Elks services at 8pm on Monday, May 29, 2017 and from 10am-11am on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday at the funeral home with Reverend Carolyn Hoskinson officiating.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
