James Howard Seals, 89, of Junction City, Ohio went to be with his Lord in heaven at 6:05am on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Genesis-New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born March 10, 1926 in Perry County, Ohio to the late Adam and Bessie Craig Seals.
Howard was a member of the Grace Community Church of the Nazarene; Retired from the Tile Plant; was a farmer and a gardener and he collected model antique cars.
Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
Survived by his wife of 69 years, Zelma “Kathryn” Hill Seals of New Lexington; children, Gary Wayne (Mary) Seals of Lancaster, Joan Arlene (Don) Givens of Junction City, Marjorie Kay Givens of New Lexington, Robert Eugene (Debbie) Seals of New Lexington and James Morgan (Tammy) Seals of Junction City; grandchildren, Jennifer (Cecil) Hanes, Andy Seals, Beth (Rich) Lamp, Jeannette (John) Newell, Ben (Misty) Seals, Missy (Sam) Bennett, Lori (Tom) Stant, Gina Givens, Brad (Mindy) Givens, Matt Givens, Josh (Angel) Givens, Robert “Bo” Seals, Jeremy (Danielle) Seals, Krystal Karns and Blake Karns; 31 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Stella Collier, Diane (Stanley) Allen, Margaret Scott, Judy (Floyd) Downs and Pam (Charles) Downs; 2 brothers, Rodger “Sam” (Linda) Seals and Ray (Bonnie) Seals; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, John, George, Carl, Bill, Walter, Kenneth, Maxine, Juanita, Josephine, Mary Yvonne and Marilyn Jean.
Calling hours will be held from 6pm-8pm on Monday, March 23, 2015 and from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio. Calling hours one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Grace Community Church of the Nazarene, 7945 Tunnel Hill Road, New Lexington, Ohio with Pastor Larry Brisker officiating.
Burial will be in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
