Joseph "Joey" Scott Sole

Joseph “Joey” Scott Sole, 40, of Sabina, Ohio, formerly of New Lexington, Ohio died Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.

Born January 3, 1976 in Zanesville, Ohio to Bill Sole and the late Sandra Smith Sole.

He was a security guard at Lebanon Prison; attended New Lexington Schools; a 1994 graduate of Logan High School; an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan.

Survived by his daughter, Karsyn Sole, whom he loved; father, Bill Sole; sister, Melissa Sole Daubenmire; brother, Billy Sole; nieces and nephew, Makayla, James and Emma; grandmothers, Marguerite Smith and Glenna Sole; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cassandra S. Carney; grandfathers, Perry Smith and William Sole.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
