Judith A. “Judie” Funk, 69, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 2:05 am on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Born June 11, 1945 in Corning, Ohio to the late Clyde David and Bessie Mae Evans Garey.
Judie was a member of the New Lexington Eagles #2070 and B.P.O.E. #509 of New Lexington.
Survived by her husband of 50 years, William “Bill” Funk of the home; children, Deanna (Michael) Middleton of Carroll, Karmelia “Karma” (Tim) Spires of Canal Winchester and Kenneth (Jenny) Funk of New Lexington; grandchildren, Kristopher Funk, Dylan Hutchison, Parker Powers, Andrew Kim, Macie Lynn Funk, Thomas Funk, Haley and Hayden Spires; great-grandkids, Ellie and Maddox; 4 sisters, Jean Jewell, Catherine Longstreth, Shirley Grezlik and Linda McCormick.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Leroy Garey, Donald Garey, Clyde Garey, Pete Garey, Frant Brown and Marcella Deem.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
