Lila Jean (Miller) Allen

Lila Jean Allen, 87, of Crooksville, Ohio died at 10:50 pm on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Genesis Hospice, Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born August 24, 1930 in Moore’s Junction, Ohio to the late Robert D. and Dorothy Moore Miller.

She attended the Church of Christ in Christian Union in New Lexington; loved her family and also liked to fish, bake and shop.

Survived by her husband of 69 years, Ralph L. Allen of the home; children, Cynthia (Tom) Dennis of New Lexington, Gary (Debbie) Allen of Crooksville, Karla (Jerry) Hollingshead of  New Lexington, Steven L. (Polly) Allen of Crooksville, Bobbi Allen of Crooksville and  Rex (Karen) Allen of Crooksville; 24 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Trout of Zanesville and Ann Moore Thomas of Corning; brother, Robbie Miller of Roseville.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by grandsons, Danny Allen and Ricky Dennis.

Calling hours will be held from 3pm-8pm on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend John Jividen and Pastor Daniel Greer officiating.

Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, Portersville, Ohio.
