Linda E. (Hare) Spangler

Linda E. Spangler, 72 of Corning, Ohio died at 1:24 pm on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the home of her daughter in New Lexington, Ohio.

Born April 29, 1945 in Circleville, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Lucinda McGee Hare.

A member of the House of Prayer in Drakes; loved playing bingo, crocheting, making crafts,  candy and she was a Foster Grandma at Head Start.

Survived by her husband, Robert Spangler of the home; children, Robert (Teresa) Spangler of South Carolina, Patricia (Mike) Waddell of The Plains, Lucinda Hinkle of New Lexington, Janet Spangler of Corning, Lloyd (Regina) Spangler of Guysville and Terri (Alan) Newman of New Lexington; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Roberts and Janet Monst; brothers, Bob and Jim Hare and special companion, Lucy.

In addition to her parents preceded in death by 2 sisters, Clarabell and Francis; 1 brother, Joe Hare.

Calling hours will be held from 11 am to 1 pm with funeral service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington with Randy Paige officiating.

Burial will be in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
