Mary Eileen (Gossman) Stickdorn

Mary "Eileen" Stickdorn, 80, died peacefully Thursday November 10, 2016 at Pickering House in Lancaster.  She was born July 26, 1936 in Crooksville, to the late William Gossman and Anna Mae Swackhammer Gossman. Eileen married James H Stickdorn on December 26, 1952.

She raised 5 children and was a wonderful homemaker who loved to bowl, read and was a good cook. She has been a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, New Lexington, Ohio for over 50 years.

Eileen is survived by her children, Mel Stickdorn of Chicago, Susan (Raymond) Fiore of, Lancaster and Mark Stickdorn of Columbus and one brother John William Gossman of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years James H Stickdorn two, sons James Norman and Kenneth Paul and one sister Elizabeth Joanne Barrett.

Calling hours will be Tuesday November 15, 2016 3pm-7pm at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill St., New Lexington, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00pm Wednesday November 16, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Main and Water Streets, New Lexington with Father David Schalk as celebrant.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
