Richard "Rick" L. Savage

Richard “Rick” L.  Savage, 68, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 8:35pm on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Morrison House, Genesis Hospice, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born February 9, 1948 in Junction City, Ohio to the late Ralph G. Savage and Helen I. Dickerson Savage Morrow.

Rick was a United States Air Force Veteran, having served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam; he was a kind hearted man and he will be missed by all who loved him; Rick also loved Marlene’s beef and noodles.

Survived by his brother, Ralph M. (Marlene) Savage of Mt. Perry and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by brothers, Albert and Larry Savage and a sister, Mildred Azbell.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Marc Caton officiating.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio.
