Born September 13, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Paul and Kate Wolford Watson.
He was a United States Army Veteran, serving 2 tours in Vietnam and retired from ITT Higbie.
Survived by son, Robert W. (Anita) Watson of Corning; adopted son, Jerrod Watson of New Lexington; step-son, James Boyd of Zanesville, Ohio and grandson, Dulton Watson of Corning.
Preceded in death by a brother, Charles Watson and a sister, Lora Kay.
No calling hours will be held.
Graveside Funeral service and burial will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Oakfield Cemetery, Oakfield, Ohio. Military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio.
