Born December 28, 1949 in Danville, Illinois to the late Johnnie Archie Spires and Mary Lou Thurman Carter.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene; a loving and caring woman; loved Coca Cola; her favorite color was red and liked her favorite race car driver, Kyle Busch.
Survived by 2 daughters, Kim Joiner (John Settle) and Sharon Ricker (Todd Arrington); a son, Jimmy Joiner; grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher, Felicia, Nicole, Shane and Justin; 2 great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jaelyn and several brothers and sisters.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by a sister, Joye.
No calling hours or services will be held. Cremation will take place.
