William E. Ratliff, 87, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 5:30pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Genesis-New Lexington Care Center.
Born May 9, 1929 in Moxahala, Ohio to the late Albert and Nellie Kochensparger Ratliff.
William was retired from Ludowici-Celadon (Tile Plant) after 42 years of service and he enjoyed country and blue grass music.
Survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia A. Hinkle Ratliff of the home.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by 2 sons, Donald Ray Ratliff and Robert Eugene Ratliff; 2 grandchildren, Angela Wolfe and Andrew Ratliff; 2 brothers, Leo and Clarence Ratliff; 2 sisters, Mildred Corp and Sara Burnett.
Private Graveside Funeral Service and Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at New Lexington Cemetery with Reverend Dan Hinkle officiating.
Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio in charge of arrangements.
