Karen Kay Hankison

Karen Kay Hankison, 63, of New Lexington died Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Genesis-Perry County Emergency Department in Somerset, Ohio.

Born December 14, 1960 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Howard Kilbarger and Shirley Ross Woods of New Lexington.

Karen loved her kids and grandkids, shopping, crafting and being out in nature. She loved taking care of her family and was very Christian. Karen treasured her relationship with her step-father, Pearl was a wonderful father to her.

She is survived by her children, Kaleigh (Robbie) Chambers, Keira (Travis Raver) Roberts and Jace Hankison; mother, Shirley (Pearl) Woods; grandchildren, Max Yarger and Ryder Raver; sisters, Lori Kilbarger and Lisa Kilbarger; step-brother, John Woods.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Kilbarger.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Marc Caton officiating.

Burial will follow at New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
