Larry G. Cain, 77, of Junction City passed peacefully on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.
Born October 24, 1946 in Albany, Ohio.
Larry served in the United States Air Force as a buck sergeant. He loved to spend his time fishing, playing the guitar, watching old westerns and working on historic vehicles. Larry was a husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle and cousin, but mostly he was a wise man you wouldn’t forget after just having one conversation with. After a long life, Larry is now with the lord.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn “Jane” Cain; two sons, Shawn and Rodney Cain; three grandchildren, Nicole Cain, Nicole (Michael) and Kaylee Cain; siblings, Cecile, Janice, Ruth, Bob (Lupe) Michael Allan, Kathy, Betsy and Cindy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gladys Cain of Athens, Ohio; sister-in-law Karen; daughter-in-law Holly Cain; grandson, Daniel Cain and his sister, Jackie.
Calling hours will be held be held 11am-1pm with funeral service with Reverend Richard Fitch officiating at 1:00pm followed by military services by John Tague post #188. American Legion of New Lexington on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
