Alaina Nicole (Ewing) Steele

Alaina Nicole Steele, 32, of New Lexington, Ohio died Friday, August 11, 2017 in Licking County, Ohio after an automobile/pedestrian accident while she was flagging traffic.

Born December 8, 1984 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ray Ewing and Janet Porter Ewing.

Alaina loved her family, children, deer hunting, humming birds, flowers, jewelry, frogs and riding Harley Davidson’s. She was Apostolic by faith and worked both as a housewife and for Wright’s Construction.

Survived by her husband, Mitchell Ray Steele; 2 children, Damian Mitchell Steele and Michael Ray Steele; mother, Janet (John Vail) Ewing; father-in-law, David (Sharon) Steele; mother-in-law, Charlene Skeels; grandmother, Estella Fyffe; aunt, Jane Porter; brother-in-law, David Lee Steele, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Tina Marie Steele and Brooke Collins; very loving niece, Samantha Marie Steele; niece, Nadia Collins; nephew, Devin Lee Steele; step-sister, Jennifer Vail; step-brother, Jordan Vail; several other aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many loving close friends.

Calling hours will be held from 6pm-8pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 and 4pm-8pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio; a luncheon will follow at the K of C Hall, Jefferson Street, New Lexington immediately following the committal.
