My condolences go out to you and your family. When I lost some family members in death I found comfort in the Bible. One of my favorite scriptures to look at is Revelation 21:4 where God promises, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Though the loss of Alaina is painful, you will get to see her again when God brings everyone back to life - John 5:28,29. I hope this brings you comfort.

My sister and best friend. I can't imagine you being gone. I don't remember my life before you were in it. Since we were 11 yrs old, we've been sisters and friends. I will not allow anger to fill my heart about how you were taken from us. Because I love you more than that. My mind will fill my broken heart with all of our happy and funny memories. Until we meet again, My Laina.

Alaina's loss is felt by many. I met Alaina over a year ago through my Sister, Erica Loy who became best friends with Alaina several years ago. When Erica and I's Mom got sick Alaina came to be with Erica and our family and when my Mom passed she would text my Dad, send him jokes and funny pictures, or would send videos of her, Erica, and Jamie Hill being the goodballs they were together. She called me sister and loved Erica very much. Our lives were so filled knowing her and we are so sorry for the families loss. Alaina took time out of her life during this past year to try to bring joy to my grieving Dad and just brighten his life, she didnt have to yet she still chose to love people and those close to her. God gained a great Angel and we will be lucky to have her watching over us All. May God be with her family, her Husband, and her kids during this time.
Until we meet again Sister, we love you and treasure the light you gave to this life.

Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out the families of Alaina Steele. Words cannot express in words our hurt for her husband, children and the loss they are feeling. My heart is touched for her mother, in the loss of her daughter. I lost my youngest son last October and there is no grief like the loss of a child. I did not know Alaina personally but knew her mother-in-law Charlene who loved Alaina very much. God is the source of all strength we need in any situation!

I am so sorry about Alaina. I heard about this and could not believe it. I wanted to let you know what a brave and wonderful soul she was. I have always respected her and please know she was right in all her battles in the city. Please take care of those beautiful boys and live the life she wanted for them. Alaina My Precious Baby Girl ~ I don't have a clue as to where to start on this because I am Totally Devastated I Never Dreamed in a Million Years, I would be even writing something like this. From The Moment I Asked God For You And He Answered My Prayers I Have Truly Truly wanted you, you were wanted even before you were born. I Dreamed About The Day Of You Becoming My Precious Baby Girl. I Have No idea how I am ever going to go on without you. And even though you married Mitchell the Love Of Your Life, I still never imagined you not in my Life. You Truly Loved Mitchell with ALL OF YOUR HEART AND SOUL. AND MITCHELL LOVED YOU WITH ALL HIS HEART AND SOUL. You guys gave me and your Dad the best gifts ever when you gave us Damian And Michael. God was we thrilled with both of them. Bubba being Our First. But baby girl I am truly dying inside just at the thought of not seeing you again or hearing you again. You Are My Whole World.
I can't imagine my life without you I really and truly can't. Your my whole world. And while you are there please do what I asked you to do. Because I want your Dad to know it ALL FIRST HAND!!! You Lived it All With Me. You And I were totally Heartbroken from it all, you make sure he know's just how cruel it was too. I will continue to talk to you both every night and I am sure for quite sometime I will cry myself asleep talking to you both. Alaina mommy thought you were one Beautiful Young Woman And I Am Proud of You and the wife and mother you had become. Oh and by the way it sucks I don't get the home cooked meal you recently promised me. That sucks !!!
I don't want to be without you EVER. And I believe no mother should have to ever loose their child. You know I LOVED YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK. You were Special to Me And I Wanted You More Than Anything In This Whole World and Inasked God for you and he Blessed me😇🙏🏼. I laugh at times because I think Don't think he don't listen because I am living proof he does. And I would Do It All Over Again. You were such A Beautiful Little Girl Too. I remember how happy Grandma And Grandpa were about getting you as a grand daughter. Mom said she Always wanted a red headed grandchild and the whole family welcomed you in with wide open arms. Even Uncle Carl joked about you and deviled eggs, he could not believe how many he watched you sneak egg after egg. And please be a good girl in Heaven and keep your hot temper in check. And Babygirl as much as this hurts I know you will have no more pain and no more sorrow. And know that I will talk to you nightly and I would love for you to visit me and let me see you and know your here because you are A Little Somethin Somethin. Alaina grew up and went to school with my son's Anthony and Jeremy Lax. I remember Alaina running around the neighborhood with her sassy little self and beautiful red hair. I was fortunate enough to meet up with Alaina and her husband about a year ago on card night at Aunt Pam and Mary's house and got to see the beautiful woman, loving mother and wife she had become.
I pray that the lord cradles you all in the palm of his hands and helps you to find some kind of peace in this truly, truly sad time.
