Annabelle (Ayers) West

Annabelle Plant West, 77, of Corning, Ohio died at 5:25 am on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Genesis-Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born October 14, 1939 in Rendville, Ohio to the late Jesse and Verna Mae Ayers Plant.

She attended the Oakfield Baptist Church; was an avid Bingo player; loved her scratch offs, reading, Cub’s baseball and spent a lot of time with her grandchildren.

Survived by 4 sons, John Arthur (Anice) West of Clarrington, Robert T. (Stephanie) West of Jasper, Georgia, Marc West of the home and William West of New Lexington; 5 daughters, Carol (Gary) Bishop of Columbus, Cheryl (Joe) Norris of Red House, West Virginia, Betty Ann (Blake) Doolittle of Conway, South Carolina, Kimberly (Mike) Rutter of New Lexington and Bonnie (Elvis) Keaton of Dublin; 24 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Arthur T. West on May 1, 2007; sisters, Norma Sigler, Patty Plant and a brother, Richard Plant.

Calling hours will be from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and from 10-11 am on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the church.

Funeral service will held at 11:00 am  on Saturday at the Oakfield Baptist Church, State Route 13, Oakfield, Ohio with Pastor Bob Woodrum officiating.

Burial will be in Oakfield Cemetery.
