Beulah L. “Opal Lee” Alfman, 89, of Corning, Ohio went home to be with the Lord at 8:09pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Rose Farm, Ohio.
Born November 11, 1928 in Grayson, Kentucky to the late Dewey and Nora Johnson Webb.
Beulah was a homemaker; oldest member of Pleasant Grove (Tatmans) Church; a very devoted Christian Lady in all aspects of life; she loved her kids, grandkids, her dog, Goldie, gardening, quilting, making fried chicken, chicken and noodles and pie baking.
Survived by six children, Reverend Mary (Burchell) Perani of Oakfield, Dewey (Joann) Alfman of Oakfield, Tim (Sonia) Alfman of Corning, David (Julie) Alfman of Crooksville, Patty (Clark) Hurst of Corning and Linda (Bradley) Dalrymple of Crooksville; 96 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and two on the way; half-sister, Kathy (Webb) Chaffin.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Alfman; two sons, Lawrence Alfman, Jr. and Earl Alfman; two grandsons, Dewey Alfman and Bobby Hurst; two brothers, George and Carl Webb; and a infant sister.
Calling Hours will be held from 3-5pm & 6-8pm on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Pleasant Grove (Tatmans) Church, Portie Flamingo Road, Corning, Ohio with her daughter, Reverend Mary Perani officiating.
Burial will follow in Millertown-Oakwood Cemetery
