Dustin Curtis “Peanut” Houk, 38 of New Lexington, Ohio died Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home.
Born July 21, 1979 in Zanesville, Ohio to William Curtis Houk and Myra Kristine Moore Gillette.
He loved bikes, hunting, tattoos, mohawks, skateboarding, wrestled, played sports; was very athletic and loved to work out. He enjoyed life and loved his dogs, Rocky and Chaos.
Survived by his parents, Kris (John) Gillette of New Lexington and Curt (Holly) Houk of Crooksville; brother, Scott (Erica) Houk of Crooksville; daughter, Tehya Houk and her mother, Terri McConaha of Logan; stepbrothers and sisters, Shane Peterson of Lancaster, Shannon Peterson, Ronda Lawyer both of Akron; and Gary Gillette of Cincinnati and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by grandparents, William P. and Alice Houk, Thomas Moore and Carrie Stephens; aunts, Lynn Wayne and Shirley Street and stepbrother, Johnny Gillette, Jr.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Timothy Poling officiating.
Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
