Edward E. Corbett, 73, of Crooksville, (Moxahala), Ohio died at 5:14pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center Emergency Department, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born September 16, 1944 in Akron, Ohio to the late Charles Edward Corbett and Josephine Rosella Hammer Jones.
Edward was kind, loving and always made people laugh; he was a retired Corrections Officer for the State of Ohio.
Survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruby Eveland Corbett of the home; 3 daughters, Brenda (Jeff) Addington of New Lexington, Jacki (Kevin) Williams of Newark and Amy Randolph of New Lexington; 10 grandchildren, Justin (Katie), Joel (Theresa) and Jared (Andrea) Addington, Tristan (Kelly) Corbett, Krystal Fox, Albert (Christy) Williams, Nicole (Doug) Verkess, Alan and Alysa Randolph, Amanda (Ross) Stevens; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike (Bonnie) Corbett; 2 sisters, Mary Jo Barr and Helen (John) Fulk; special friend, Don Smith.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by a sister, Charlene Wise.
Calling hours will be held from 6pm-8pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 and from 12noon-1pm on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday at the funeral home with Reverend John Jividen officiating.
Burial will follow in South Fork Cemetery.
