Ferne V. (Ansel) Lyle

Ferne V. Lyle at the young age of 97 went peacefully listening to one of her favorite hymns Amazing Grace at 6:30pm November 2nd, 2018, at the Morrison House. She was protestant by faith. Her favorite bible verse was John 3:16; For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

She was born April 12th, 1921 in Santoy, Perry County, daughter of AlmaJ. (Bankes) Maxwell & Claude B. Ansel.

She will be missed by her beloved sons Larry Eugene Lyle (Gene) & and his wife Connie (Willison) Lyle, and Douglas P. Lyle. (Doug), daughter in-laws Sandy (Carney) Lyle, and Darcy A. (Watts) Lyle; 6 grandchildren, Theresa K. (Lyle) Bates and her husband Johnny Bates, Angela L. (Lyle) Cardinal and her husband Anthony L. Cardinal, Terre E. (Lyle) Craft and her husband Chris Craft, Bryan C. Lyle and his wife Heather, Rachel A. Lyle and Renee A. Lyle; 9 great grandchildren, Emma K. McCombs, Elise R. McCombs, Logan S. Lyle, Carson D. Lyle, McKenzie E. Lyle, Morgan E. Lyle, Reegan L. Lyle, Sydnee L. Craft and Skye L. Craft, special friends Joni & Bret Steed, Dana & Rick Gottke, Lori Fink and Mary Lou Swingle. Our loved ones awaiting for Ferne in Heaven are her Mother, Alma J. (Bankes) Maxwell, Father, Claude B. Ansel, son, Harry Dean Lyle (Dean), Sister, Esther Dodd, special friend Joe Border, and Father of her children Carson “Bud” Lyle.

Friends may call from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday November 7th at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, where services will be held Thursday November 8th at 11:00am with Rev. Carolyn Hoskinson officiating. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in Portersville.
