Florence “Susie” Blosser, 75, of New Lexington, Ohio went home, passed peacefully at 1:40am on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
Born on April 4, 1943 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late John & Florence Effie Jones Pickrell.
Susie graduated from Crooksville High School in 1961; previously worked at Bryant’s and was a waitress at the Top Hat; she enjoyed Ohio State football, going to Branson, MO, NASCAR and playing euchre at the VFW in Crooksville; she loved to cook and put on family outings. She will be sadly missed by many friends, family and neighbors of Six Mile Turn and all over Perry County.
Survived by her husband of 48 years, Terry Blosser; children, Russell Starner, Kimberly (Ed) Starner Hollingshead, Michael Anthony “Tony” Blosser and Terra (Michael) Blosser Hammer; 15 grandchildren, Joe, Tiffany, Coy, Dalton, Leah, Sabrina, Paige, Clay, Savannah, Ashley, Autumn, Desirie, Steven, Cody and Bradie; 8 great-grandchildren, Jaylynn, Taylor, Sunshine, Kaci, A.J., Ava, Titan and Emma.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her brother and his wife, Michael Joseph & Janie Sidwell Pickrell; 1 grandchild, Jonathan David Reed and a grand son-in-law, Robert Pickenpaugh.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Roger Mills officiating.
Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, Portersville, Ohio.
