Shana, I just now learned of Jack's passing. I recall how much he meant to you and your family. I am sorry for your loss, but he made his mark on this earth by the kindnesses to others and his military service. I know that the stories of his life will keep his memory alive for many many years to come. That is a blessing for all.

Dear Chris, Lori and all of the lovely Jones Family,
I was only informed of the horrible news of Jack's passing this afternoon and I just wanted to extend my most sincere condolences to you. The eventual loss of our parents is something that we can all expect will happen eventually. But, when we love them as dearly as I know that you all loved Jack, it is such a painful and tragic loss that leaves a perpetual void in our hearts that will shrink and be eased to some degree with the passing of time. But, I highly suggest holding on to all of the best of memories and share them with family and friends as often as you possibly can. It is a lovely way to help with the healing. But sadly, the void will always remain with you.
Regretfully, I lost my contact with the Jones family, as you well know. But, with Lori being my first and ever-cherished, true love, I spent a great deal of my free time for nearly 4 years of my youth at the Jones home and I often felt as though I had actually become a JONES myself and I absolutely loved you all. And, I do HOPE that you know that I still CHERISH that time of my life so very much and I still think of the Jack Jones family nearly every day. I always have and can only assume that I always will, if the last 35 years thinking of and feeling that kinship means anything at all.
May Jack rest in peace, forever knowing and feeling the love and adoration that he has truly earned and lived in this life. May God bless and keep you all.
Sincerely,
Keith Harris

I grew up in New Lexington but I can say I lost out because I did not know you. I just want to thank you for serving and protecting our country and me.

Our hearts are heavy after hearing of Jack's passing. We enjoyed 26 years of exchanging chit-chat & seeing his infamous wave or nod as we headed down the hill.
He was the best neighbor anyone could have asked for. He will surely be missed by all. Even though we lost a good person.....heaven got a great man!

Lori, Kelci, and all: So sorry to hear this sad news. It took me by surprise. If he had a health issue I was not aware of it. He always looked good and upbeat to me. I'm sure he will be missed by many.

A very nice customer of mine when I worked at Kroger. I'm retired now. I always loved seeing him in the aisle, studying his list. He asked about spices, and chats about lemons. We laughed the most about what avocadoes are good for. On toast! Rest In Peace Jack.
