Jeannette Dunn of Crooksville, Ohio has joined her creator and left behind the trials and difficulties of earthly life. She gained her independence on the fourth of July, 2018. Jeannette was a lifelong resident of central Ohio where she spent her life in the care of others, not only in her professional life as a nurse, but also her personal life. She quietly aided many with her generosity and because of her kindness, others were able to realize their dream of home ownership, furthering their education, or simply meeting the demands of some other situation or crisis in their life. She did so quietly and without the expectation of praise or acknowledgement. Her generosity sprang simply from her love of those around her and a genuine desire to be of aid and assistance to them. Jeannette was a devoted gardener and delighted in getting her hands into the earth. She enjoyed nature and cared for the birds around her home with diligence, always making sure they had a steady supply of food. Jeannette was also concerned with protecting the environment and was conscientious in her recycling, composting, and conservation efforts. Jeannette’s love of flea markets, yard sales, and thrift stores is legendary and those who shared in her adventures have stories to provide them smiles for years to come. Jeannette was also a proud American who flew the flag and supported causes for veterans.
Jeannette is survived by two loving sisters, Lelia Wheeler and Letha Richardson, a daughter, Taryn, sister-in-law, Mary Burns as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
You are invited to come together with others whose lives she touched to share stories and celebrate her life on Saturday August 11th, 2018 at 2pm at 112 South Main Street in New Lexington, Ohio.
