Jonas L. Leckrone

Jonas L. Leckrone, 78, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 10:40pm on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Genesis-New Lexington Care Center.

Born February 26, 1939 in Junction City, Ohio to the late Eldo and Ella Neal Leckrone.

Jonas was a United States Air Force Veteran; retired from Rockwell International and a member of the U.A.W.

Survived by 2 daughters, Diana (William) Furman of Savannah, GA. and Vicki Carter (Tony Stacey) of Hamilton; 2 sons, Joseph (Lisa) Leckrone of New Lexington and Rick (Cathy) Leckrone of Delaware; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 brother, Mell (Sue) Leckrone of Hemlock.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his wife, Patricia L. Leckrone, September 25, 2009; daughter, Lisa Mari Leckrone; 2 brothers, James and Robert and a sister, Helen.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-8pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 and from 10am-11am on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday at the funeral home with Reverend James Jividen officiating.

Burial will be in Millertown-Oakwood Cemetery with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion of New Lexington, Ohio.
