Kenneth A. Tucker, 90, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 10:14pm on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born December 11, 1927 in Shelby Gap, Kentucky to the late Christopher Columbus and Savannah Pearl Potter Tucker.
Kenneth was a United States Army Veteran; retired Coal Miner from Peabody Coal Company; member of the First United Methodist Church of New Lexington; 50 year member of MacMillan Lodge #141, F & AM of Cincinnati; Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus and U.M.W.A. member LU #1340.
Survived by his wife of 48 years, Daisy Hush Tucker of the home; 3 children, Allen (Karen) Tucker of Lancaster, Christopher Tucker of Reston, Virginia and Adele (Justin) Gall of New Lexington; 3 granddaughters, Maggie, Lauren and Charlotte Gall; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by 2 brothers, Grady and James Tucker; sister, Avonelle Rose.
Calling hours will be held from 5pm-8pm with Masonic Lodge Services at 7:45pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Greg Inboden and Reverend Bob Rose officiating.
Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery with graveside military services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio.
