Larry Ray Armstrong, Sr.

Larry Ray “Perce” Armstrong, Sr., 75 of Somerset, Ohio died at 1:36pm on Monday, October 29, 2018 at his home.

Born June 7, 1943 in Junction City, Ohio to the late Percy and Marie Bay Armstrong.

Perce was a United States Air Force Veteran; he loved to go fishing and camping, Burr Oak was his Heart and he loved the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Survived by a daughter, Teri Armstrong Purvis; son, Michael (Vikki) Waymire; grandchildren, Corey (Megan), Andy (Christina), Dustin and Tanomia (Dallas); several great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Ruth) Armstrong; sister, Linda (Larry) Armstrong Brown; sister-in-law, Betty Ann Armstrong and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Waymire Armstrong; son, Larry Armstrong, Jr.; granddaughter, Courtney; brothers and sister, Robert and Dale Armstrong, Mary Lou Folk.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio. 

Funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor David Helser officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
