Larry A. Marolt

Larry A. Marolt, 71, of New Lexington, Ohio, formerly of Corning, Ohio died at 11:57pm on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born July 21, 1946 in Corning, Ohio to the late Carl and Bertha K. Orecchio Marolt.

Larry served for 7 years in the Ohio National Guard; member of the Corning American Legion Post #327; he was the owner and operator of Marolt’s Florist and Greenhouse for 70 years and attended the Lighthouse Bible Ministries Church on Lincoln Street in New Lexington.

Survived by his wife of 17 years, Anita Simpson Marolt of the home; children, Kira and Tara McGlone; brother, Robert Marolt of Corning; sister, Kathy (Bruce) Morrison of Michigan; 3 grandchildren, Cameron, Nathan and Khilee Doyle; many nieces, nephews, cousins; business partners and lifelong friends, Jeff Dodson and Terry Dodson and his beloved pets, Tinker Bell and Peanut.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Louella Marolt.

Calling Hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017 and from 10am-11am on Monday at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the funeral home with Reverend Mike Moler officiating

Burial will be in Millertown-Oakwood Cemetery with graveside military services by the Corning American Legion Post #327.
