Mary A. Brown

Mary A. Brown, 105, of Junction City, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 23, 2018 at her residence.

Mary was born on November 27, 1912 in Junction City, Ohio to the late Perley and Effie Lott Brown.

She was a 1930 graduate of New Lexington High School; Mary left the family farm in her mid twenties and moved to Columbus to live with an Aunt. She worked at various jobs, the last being a bookkeeper for Butler Veterinary Supply Company where she retired from. In 1998, Mary moved back to Junction City to be near her family.

Mary was a member of the Junction City United Methodist Church; she lived a wonderful, full life and had traveled through most of the United States; she was also an avid bowler. She was a loving Aunt!

Mary is survived by her niece, Janice (David) Ream; great nieces, Amy Ream, Angela (Joshua) Heskett, Mary (Keith) Pollock and Keeley (Charles) Hankinson; 13 great-great nieces and nephews. Also special friend and care-giver, Christine Fitch.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Sherman E. Brown; sister-in-law, Marguerite Snider Brown; nephew and wife, Jerry L. and Margie Storts Brown and great niece, Kimberlee Brown.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Sanford Short officiating.

Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Junction City, Ohio.
