Mary E. (Allen) Pletcher

Mary E. Allen Pletcher, 86, of Jackson, Ohio, formerly of Dresden and New Lexington, Ohio died at 5:10pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Heartland of Jackson, Ohio.

Born July 7, 1931 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Fred C. and Emma Sheets Allen.

She was a member of the Dresden United Methodist Church; retired from the Advertiser newspaper and was a member of the Carnation Chapter #167 Ohio Eastern Star.

Survived by her 2 children, Mary Lou McNulty of New Lexington and Charles (Darlene) Kelley, Jr. of  Jackson; two step-daughters, Shirley (Larry) King of Dresden and Kay (Dale) Vandenbark of Zanesville; 10 grandchildren, Eric (Eve) McNulty and Justin (Kyla) McNulty of New Lexington, Stacie (Jeff) Fleming of New Albany, Jeremy (Ivy) Kelley of Florida, Jarrod (Becky) Kelley and Katey Kelley of Jackson, Vicki (Chad) Britton of Tennessee, Doug (Julie Vandenbark of Zanesville, Mike (Monica) King and Brian (Lisa) King of Dresden; ; 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and 3 nieces

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, James A. Pletcher on August 19, 1997; grandchildren, Joshua Kelley and infant, Michelle McNulty; 2 brothers, Harvey & Charles E.  Allen; 2 sisters, Margaret Leroy, Anna May Reynolds and an infant sister; son-in-law, Mike McNulty.

Calling hours will held 10 am-12:30 pm, with funeral service at 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Greg Inboden officiating.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
