Nondyce J. "Nonnie" (Tefft) Rambo

Nondyce J. “Nonnie” Tefft Rambo, 89, of New Lexington, Ohio, died at 2:40 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019.  She was born June 6, 1929, to Glenn C. Tefft and Margaret Hunt Tefft.

Mrs. Rambo grew up in Wellsville, Ohio, and moved to New Lexington as a high school senior.  After time at home raising children, she worked as a clerk for the Perry County Treasurer and New Lexington Water Department.  She then worked as the New Lexington City Financial Director.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons: Phillip Rambo of Cincinnati, Glenn (Carol) Rambo of Maumee, and Daniel (Beverly) Rambo of Oxford; and four daughters: Madeline (Robert Staron) Rambo of Athens, Patricia (William) Phillips of Cleveland, Jody (Thomas) Clemens of Columbus, and Anna Kay (Kenneth Gulick) Rambo of Marietta.  She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, in whom she took great pride.

Mrs. Rambo was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. “Pint” Rambo; two brothers, Robert Tefft and James Tefft; and two sisters, Anna Kay Ooi and Jean Rankin.

Calling hours are from 10:00 a.m.  to 11:45 a.m. on Friday,  January 25, 2019 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street in New Lexington.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church at 126 South High Street in New Lexington, with Reverend Greg Inboden officiating.

Burial will be in the New Lexington Cemetery.
