Pastor Larry Lee Ruh, Sr.

Pastor Larry Lee Ruh, Sr., age 69, of Somerset, Ohio, went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, December 17, 2017.

He was born on December 29, 1947 in Columbus, Oho.

Larry lived his life to serve the Lord. His passion and joy was serving his church, community and family. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, golfing, Nascar and the Buckeyes. He served his Savior faithfully for 41 years. He served as Pastor of Westphal Baptist Church in Whitehall, OH for 7 years. In 1989 he became the Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in New Lexington, OH where he served his church and Lord for the past 28 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ruh; mother, Esther Bullock King and brother, Terry Ruh.

Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Henrietta; his children, Larry (Cathy) Ruh and Shelby (Patrick) Griffey; his grandchildren, Jessica, Dalas, Ashley, Anthony, Jonathan, Nikole, Corey, Jordyn, Alysa and Shawn; his great-grandchildren, Brilee, Abel, Jude, Uriah and Christopher; nieces and nephews; many beloved friends and his family in Christ.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and from 10am-11am on Thursday at the church.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 215 E. Broadway, New Lexington, OH with Pastor Toby Cambron officiating.

Burial will follow in Somerset Cemetery, Somerset, Ohio.
