Patricia A. (Cotterman) Allen

Patricia A. Allen, 73, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 2:30am on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the Oaks at Northpoint in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born September 25, 1945 in Somerset, Ohio to the late Leonard and Ann Morehead Cotterman.

Lifelong member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of New Lexington, LSC (Ladies Sorority Club), and WELC (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America). Participating in 4-H herself and continued it with her kids and grandkids. She was Sheridan High School cheerleader.  She dedicated  many years in serving others as a health aide and mental health assistant.  She was involved with her kids sports from coaching to attending all their activities.  She was not only a loving mother but a wonderful grandmother who attended her grandkids activities.  She had a passion for shopping and giving to others.   

Survived by her husband of 55 years, Leray Allen of the home; 4 daughters, Beverly (Steve) Coffman, Deb (Steve) Dolbow, Tammy (Brad) Smith and Christina Allen; 5 grandchildren, Jamie (Chad) Reynard, Rachel and Heather Coffman, Gabrielle Guy and Ashleigh Smith; 2 great-grandchildren, Stephen and Lexi Reynard; sister, Margaret Kennedy and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Coffman and a sister, Nancy Shook.

Calling Hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 201 West Brown Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Pastor John Michles officiating.

Burial will follow in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
