Phyllis M. (Gallagher) Cannon

Phyllis M. Cannon, 86, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 12:12pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Somerset Health and Rehabilitation Center, Somerset, Ohio.

Born July 21, 1931 in Somerset, Pennsylvania to the late William L. and Genevieve Ryan Gallagher.

Phyllis was a graduate of New Lexington High School and the Bliss Business College of Columbus; she worked at Cannon’s Royal Blue Market and was a retired secretary from New Lexington City Schools; lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church of New Lexington and the Carey Mayer Circle of the church; she was also a member of  Carnation Chapter #167 O.E.S. of New Lexington.

Survived by her children, Pamela K. (Doug) Snider of Somerset, Jon R. Cannon of Zanesville and Carl W. Cannon of Windermere, FL.; 5 grandchildren, Matthew (Jamie) Snider, Brandon (Kim) Snider, Wesley (Courtney) Snider, Lee Anne (Eric) Easley and Austin Cannon; 6 great-grandchildren R.J., Luke, Brandon, Evan, James and Kelsey Snider; brother, Charles W. (Ann) Gallagher of Coshocton.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by husband, Royce A. Cannon, November 7, 2015.

Calling Hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and from 12noon-1pm on Monday at the Church

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, 126 South High Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Reverend Greg Inboden officiating.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio
