Richard “Dick” C. Bryant, Sr., 76, of Junction City, Ohio died Monday, November 19, 2018 at his residence.
Born October 11, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Henry and Maxine Stults Bryant.
Richard was a United States Air Force Veteran; retired from Diamond Power, Lancaster, Ohio and Columbus Auto Parts; member of James E. Fisher, Post #376 of Junction City, New Lexington Eagles #2070; the NRA; was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved his grandchildren.
Survived by his wife, Mary M. Schirtzinger Bryant of the home; children, Richard (Angie) Bryant, Jr. of New Lexington, Brenda (Scott) Starkey of Somerset and Aaron (Rhonda) Bryant of New Lexington; grandchildren, Alex Bryant, A.J. Bryant and Kirstin (Jared) Jarvis; great-grandchildren, Stran, Ellee and Kami Jarvis; brothers and sisters, James (Shirley) Bryant of Columbus, William (Clea) Bryant of Junction City, Carol (Alva) Reed of Portersville and May Vanness of Junction City; many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by a brother, Walter Bryant; sister, Barbara Meeker and his best buddy, Bear.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm with Legion services at 7:30pm on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Newlon officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Portersville, Ohio with graveside military services by James E. Fisher Post #376, American Legion of Junction City, Ohio.
