Robert "Bob" L Pedicord

Robert “Bob” Pedicord, 81 formerly of Zanesville, went to his heavenly home at the Pickering House in Lancaster on May 21, 2018 with his family by his side.

Bob was the son of Dr. James and Dr. Flora Pedicord of Zanesville, and the husband of Sondra Butts Pedicord of 35 years. Their children together are: Lora (Greg) Wise of Lancaster, Lynda (Tim) Dixon of California, Scott Pedicord of California, Eric (Mindy) Pedicord of Ohio; 6 grandchildren; plus 2 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Ann (George) Johnson of FL. and Lynn Sellers of Zanesville.

He is preceded in death by his parents and children, Beth Pedicord and Chuck Starowesky

Bob loved animals and the outdoors & had been involved in 4-H, horse shows &  parades.  He was a member of many Horse Clubs in the area.

As his career, he shoed horses most of his life, but his greatest love was Christian Ministry.  Bob and Sondra pastored  Perry County Christian Center, sang in the choir at Trinity Full Gospel Church and taught Sunday school at Cornerstone Full Gospel Church; ran the information table at  World Harvest Church; ministered in nursing homes & was a current member at Rhema House of Worship in Roseville and was a member of the Ohio Army National Guard for 6 years.

Calling hours will be held from 5:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 and from 12-1pm on Thursday at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Bob’s Home-Going Celebration will be at 1 pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Wes Kidwell of Rhema and Elder Bill Canfield of the World Harvest Church officiating.

Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
