Willovene Lambert, 94, formerly of Zanesville and New Lexington, Ohio died at 4:30pm on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Summit Acres in Caldwell, Ohio where she had been a resident for 6 years.
Born November 24, 1922 near New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Charles and Edith Thompson Walker.
Willovene retired from Bryant Manufacturing after 17 years and from Valley Gem Stoves in 1987; she attended the Southside Baptist Church in Zanesville; she was devoted to her grandchildren and loved to attend their sporting events; she loved the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes, gospel music, especially the Gaithers.
Survived by her son, Daniel O. (Karen) Lambert of West End, North Carolina, formerly of New Lexington, OH.; granddaughter, Kacey M. (Will) Sensenich of Eden, North Carolina; grandson, Matthew J. (Lynsey) Lambert of Portland Oregon; great-grandchildren, William and Dustyn Sensenich, Riley, Jackson and James Lambert; sister, Marge Walker Houze of Minerva, OH. and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Orin D. “Dusty” Lambert on December 22, 2002.
Calling hours will be held from 1pm-3pm with funeral service at 3:00pm with Reverend Richard Newlon officiating on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery.
