Aileen Willison Obituary

Aileen Willison, 101, went home to be with Jesus on December 20, 2024, at New Lexington Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born October 15, 1923, to Dwight and Hattie Robison Brown in Crooksville, Ohio

Aileen was a devout Christian and faithful servant to the Lord. She was widely known as a prayer warrior, blessed with the gift of healing. Her love of Jesus shone through her as she laid hands in prayer on those who were sick or injured. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great- grandmother. She was an excellent cook (her homemade noodles were a family favorite!) she was an avid reader and took great joy in her family. She was a Cleveland Indians fan, enjoyed playing bingo… and no one could beat her at Scrabble.

While she will be missed by all who knew her, her family and friends take comfort in knowing she is now in Jesus’s arms.

Survived by daughters, Sue Pingle, Lisa (Lee) Householder, and sons, Marlan (Madonna) Willison and Jeff Willison; Grandchildren, Eric (Jessica) Pingle, Troy (Beth) Pingle, Erin (Rick) Jones, Beau Albertine, Ginny Willison, LeaAnn Willison, Kelly (Rick ) Munyan, Mandy (TJ) Strawn, Billy (Ashley) Gottke, Katie Willison and Sarah Willison. She had 20 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents preceded in death by husband, Rayotis “Odie” Willison; daughter, Arlene Downs; son, Harold Willison; sisters, Norma Montgomery and Faye Capparacinni and brother, Dick Brown.

Calling hours will be held from 11am to 1pm with funeral services starting at 1pm on Friday, December 27, 2024 with Pastor Sanford Short Officiating at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow at the New Lexington Cemetery.
